Charlotte - Deafolina Senior Citizens
Meets the second Tuesday of each month from 9:30 to 12 noon
(except for July summer break)
Gatherings include short meetings, themed socials and
3 educational workshops a year held at the
Charlotte-Meckenburg Senior Center, 2225 Tyvola Rd.
Membership are for those age 50+ but non-members are welcome
to attend these events.
The monthly programs also includes 2 trips - a picnic and a Christmas lunch at other locations each year. See the monthly

Deaf Social Cafe - Every second Friday of the month
DSC is a sign and social gathering for both the deaf, hard of hearing
family and community/ the hearing people to meet new friends,
practice and enhance ASL signing while having fun, enjoying coffee,
delicious finger food, games, lectures, selected closed caption
movie and much more.

Silent Dinners
What is a Silent Dinner?
A Silent Dinner is gathering where both the Deaf and hearing
communities get together and socialize. This is a good way for the
hearing community to expand their use of sign language and learn
more about the Deaf community's culture.
